1939 Chev Coupe Hotrod

Below are photos of when we first got the 1939 Chev Coupe.
After many hours of welding in new plates, I decided to sandblast as the paint was giving me a headache.
Even though I cleaned the weld surface, it just was not coming out right.

Here are the photos of what I have done up to now after the sandblasting. Currently the bodywork has taken approx 120 hours.
The steering column sleeve in place.

 Floor panels replaced.

Bottom of one of the doors replaced.

The left side lower panel repaired.

 Bottom of boot lid repaired.

Inner wheel arch widened to acommodate wider wheels

Rear fenders welded in place. The join will be leaded before priming is done.
