This is a stainless steel spiral stringer.
The pipe specs are as follows :
8" Sch 40 Pipe (219 x 8mm Round Tube)
Radius on plan 1720mm.
Height 3200mm.
Slope of stringer 36 degrees.
Pipe still needs to be polished and buffed.
Rolling done by Topring Rollers, Fabrication to be done by Stairs by Peter.

1948 Chev Coupe

This is a build that we bought as you see it. We replaced all jag suspension bushes and tie rod ends and ball joints. The vehicle has been rewired, new carpeting and sound proofing. The car is running. The papers need to be sorted as the vehicle was scrapped, but not too much of a mission to register it as a rebuild. We bought this to keep us busy over the strike. Chevy Coupe Grille

This is a picture of the design that I made on CAD and had laser cut to fit the 1939 Chevy Coupe.

After rolling the plate to required radius, I put it in the press to give the final finish. When I do the one that will be installed (from polished stainless), I will make a few changes, but here is the sample which fits pretty well.

80 x 80 x 6 Square tube bent up for boat trailer axle.

50 x 5 Flat bars rolled as cones to make up small diameter bird mouth up angle ring.

48 Kg rails rolled for offset track.

DNA Helical sculpture, from 16mm at the bottom to 50mm at the top.

I did the rolling and built the variable radius spiral on a jig in our workshop. The installation and glass blowing was done by The Crucible.
